Jessy Piedfort is een vrouw die al heel wat meegemaakt heeft, zoals iedereen een rugzak meedraagt. Maar in plaats een verhaal te schrijven over hoe ze haar voelt, gaat ze alles in gedicht-vorm hun beloop laten. Dit kan gaan van haar gevoel te uiten, dan over hoe onzeker ze staat in het leven.
Naast haar drukke kinderen, vindt ze vaak de tijd om na te denken over de woorden die in haar hoofd dwarrelen om te toveren naar een mooi diepgaand gedicht.
