Synopsis
Richard Carpenter, a young man from Cape Town, single, a freshly graduated lawyer, is moving to the U.S.A., to the city of New York. Due to his high sensitivity, he is psychologically unstable, and often has mood swings, high and low. He takes up residence in Queens, where he gets embroiled in a shootout. Just in time, a girl named Eyslin comes to his rescue. She appears to be a lovely and assertive personality, and a believing Christian, which starts to drip in with him. Together with her brother Bobby, he gets involved in all kinds of straining, odd, and moving situations. Under their influence, his stance in life changes for the better. This novel captures in no uncertain terms the fascinating process of change people are going through, due to new experiences in life.
