Synopsis
Hermine, a 20-year-old Armenian woman, returns to her ancestral homeland of Armenia to pursue her passion for art. Her parents had fled to Iraq in 1917, survivors of the Armenian genocide, and built their lives there. Now, for the first time, Hermine steps onto the soil of the country her family was forced to leave behind.
In Armenia, she meets Tigran, a 26-year-old Armenian who has always lived in freedom. From the moment he lays eyes on Hermine, he is captivated, and their love story begins—one woven from tragedy and hope, pain and devotion, loss and miracles. As Hermine uncovers the shadows of Tigran’s past, the two are drawn into a struggle against dangerous forces threatening to tear them apart.
Will their love be strong enough to withstand the trials ahead—or will destiny demand a greater sacrifice?
About Rita Khatchadorian
Art has always been my passion and I have done art in all ways I could possibly do. Writing a book has always been a dream of mine and to let my imagination be written on paper. Writing songs, poems and putting my feelings on a piece of paper, has always been a thing of mine since I was 8. When I was a child during my time in french school, I would always write down my story on paper and during break, I would tell the story to my classmates. I started writing my first book a couple months ago, and I am very excited to tell you about this!
