Samenvatting

Only half a century ago the bull runner went to the farms with the bull to fertilize the cows. Since the fifties of the 20th century, intensive breeding in livestock has increased sharply. The increase in meat products and dairy production could only be acheived with artificial insemination of mammals and the animals unilaterally fattening with soy flour, corn and fish meal. The unbridled breeding of animals, through artificial insemination of cattle and with incubators for poultry, has a devastating effect on our health, nature and the climate. Fast food, unnatural food and meat consumption lead to obesity, vitamin deficiencies, chronic diseases and premature death. In many countries cancer is now the main cause of premature death. Successive pandemics with highly pathogenic influenza aviary or coronaviruses from the meat industry will cause increased mortality and bring mankind to the brink of collapse.

Over Peter Holst MD PhD

Peter Holst MD PhD
Dr. Peter Holst worked until 1984 as a general practitioner in The Hague area, the Netherlands, and then worked for 20 years as a specialist in working conditions, lifestyle, indoor air and environmental factors. With support from the Dutch Prevention Fund and with the cooperation of several pulmonologists he did studies of new cancer cases in the Hague Hospitals. From 1987 he defended the thesis that in lung cancer patients a connection can be established with keeping (especially raising) of tropical birds and pigeons. Holst was from 1991 a member of the International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate. His interest in the link between breeding tropical birds and cancer has expanded to the health risks of intensive farming of poultry, pigs and cattle for consumption. Since the fifties of the 20th century, intensive breeding and artificial insemination in livestock keeps pace with the recent increase in cancer mortality in Western Europe. In the last 50 years, diet has become increasingly unnatural.
