Beyond The Rules

My love for writing started with a show I couldn’t get enough of—*The L Word*. What began as writing and publishing fan fiction inspired by characters I loved soon became something much more. Somewhere between imagining new storylines and bringing my own characters to life, I realized that writing wasn’t just a hobby. It was something I truly loved. I’m a single mom, which means life is rarely quiet or predictable, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me planning my next trip, enjoying a long dinner with good friends, or spending time with my two dogs, who have perfected the art of keeping me company while I write. I love stories about people—their relationships, their messy choices, the things they’re afraid to say out loud, and the unexpected ways they find love and connection. Writing began as my escape. Now, it’s my way of creating worlds I hope other people will want to escape into too.
