Synopsis
The beautiful city of Kiev also has some downsides. Because of its low wages and poor economy, a veritable industry has developed there in which extremely attractive decoy women have specialised in completely financially undressing unsuspecting men from the West. Not infrequently, the lover turns out to be a professional con artist working with criminal accomplices to empty the pockets of tourists and fortune seekers. Frank Libertas takes the reader into the buzzing nightlife of Kiev where, as well as plenty of entertainment, there are also dangers lurking.Exciting it certainly is and if you are lucky you will have a few grivnas left over to have a drink on the plane on the way home.
About Frank Libertas
Frank Libertas was born and raised in Rotterdam's Zuidwijk neighbourhood. After completing his pre-university education, he studied various aspects of Dutch law and passed his economics and philosophy exams at Erasmus University. He then went on to graduate in Higher Public Management (MPA) from the Netherlands School of Public Administration in The Hague. Frank worked for decades in various senior advisory and (top) management positions in government (including nine years as deputy municipal secretary of the municipality of Rotterdam) and the business community. He is self-taught in ancient and modern world history, including geopolitics, which is his true passion. He is now an independent entrepreneur and focuses on strategic consulting, management and organisational issues, including mergers and change processes. Over the past four years, Frank has built up a robust body of work, including Gorki in the Netherlands, the Essays, Kyv, Sjtsjek en Choryv, Liliyana Gadyka, Remmers in Permanent Employment, Lacedaemonians, Francesco and Bianca de Medici, Thorbecke 2.0, Pearl Necklace, Valerie and On a Silk Thread, and the Mainstream Media Mafia. Most of the books have been translated into ten languages.
