When things tend to feel real or too close, I used to run away. Searching for solutions and comfort in bottles of wine and tequila. Throwing myself in someones arms to forget about myself. But my heart became tired of this ongoing destructive defence mechanism. Love exists, broken hearts can heal and fear is just an illusion. This is my heart in your hands.
