Chaim Holtjer is een schrijver die uit het Limburgse Heerlen komt. Hij is gelukkig getrouwd met zijn muze. Hij heeft Engels en geschiedenis gestudeerd en werkt momenteel als trainer in het bedrijfsleven. Buiten zijn gezin en werk besteedt hij zijn tijd aan lezen, schrijven, kunst, filosofie en de vele pleziertjes van het leven. Terwijl hij werkt aan zijn (echte) debuut schrijft hij korte verhaaltjes, over avonturen in vreemde landen, liefde, de absurditeit van alle dag, dromen van een beter leven; maar altijd met humor.
