The Shadowkin is a chilling queer slasher about three strangers whose lives become inextricably linked by fate—and by a darkness that refuses to remain hidden. In the Netherlands, a visitor to the Efteling theme park is brutally murdered. As the investigation reaches a dead end, Ben van Buuren struggles to keep his troubled past and inner demons under control. Diana, a transgender woman of colour, is haunted by the scars of her past, while Arijit, a charismatic Indian man, carries secrets that set him apart from everyone around him. When the murders spread to the streets and underground of London, it becomes clear that the killer knows far more than they should. As Ben, Diana and Arijit are drawn deeper into a web of mystery, the three friends must confront painful truths about themselves before they become the next victims.
